I have been following this story very closely because I drive through that area all the time. In fact I was responsible for alerting FOX news to the crisis. The problem is that the water has been shut off by the Federal government not the state government because of a little fish that may go extinct in the aqueduct they shut off all the pumps that supply the water to all the farms in central California. They are hypocrites though, if they are so concerned with saving this little fish you would think that Sacramento and Stockton county's would quit dumping one hundred million gallons of sewage in the aqueduct DAILY.
If you go back and read your history books and read up on FDR's (new deal) you will see what the liberals did back then. FDR actually forced farmers to burn millions of acers of their crops to raise the price of food all this during the great depression. The thinking was that that would "stimulate" the economy. Well with Al Gore and all the "global warmers" out there now they cant burn the crops that would make smoke. So just cut the water supply and wa la same result different tactics. If you want to complain to someone this whole scheme was created by two California congress woman any guesses?... Thats right Barbra Boxer and Nancy Palosi BIG SUPRISE.
I do LOVE the idea ff cutting the state in half though but I think East Cal and West Cal is a better option then North and South. It seems there is something in the air when you get too close to the beach IE San Fransisco and LA where all the liberals seem to gather. I wish there was work elsewhere I would move in a New York minute.
