Posted by Monica I also had the privilege to attend the 40th anniversary at Radio City in 2002. Many of the cast members attended but I'm hoping someone will help me solve the following. There was a chair marked "Richard Beymer", next to where Rita Moreno was sitting but he never showed. I wonder what prevented his attendance at such a landmark event. After Rus Tamblyn came prancing out on stage, I saw the talented Tucker Smith walk out who still looked recognizable after 40 years. (or at least I thought I did!?) After researching the net, one site claimed he passed away in 88 while another said 98. How could he have been at the 40th reunion then? Does anyone know for sure what the real story is? Did anyone else attend? Thanx!
