SLT will make or break you. Wing Chun makes jokes of other fighting styles, but if you can't even get the fundamentals correct, you're screwed, and if you don't have the instructors to teach you what Wing Chun really has, you can never get the fundamentals. There are things that lineages outside the council are oblivious to. It's that simple. What you've seen of Wing Chun may be the best martial art you've ever seen, but if you haven't seen Ip Ching's lineage, you haven't really even begun to see Wing Chun for what it can be.
