Well I hate to sound sarcastic but they counted on the bullets killing us. Shrapnel didn't always work. Then they tried agent orange, that killed quiet a few.They tried depressing the heck out of us by treating us like lepers in our own country, still some survived. Now that we're getting old and many use the VA I think they can finally get what they wanted all along. Why they wanted that I'll never know.
