Well, it should come as no surprise that all "government" efforts to prepare for "Katrina"
were a total scam. Thirty million dollars was given to Louisiana to prepare a plan for such an emergency back in the 90s. As usual the money was used elsewhere.It was probably pocketed by some politicians nephew etc. This happens quite often in the realm of government. Would it surprise you to know that most permits for large developments are given to those that pay off the planning dept big shots? Everything is bought and paid for. One big money grubbing den of corruption. Americans pay over 60% of their income in one form of tax or another.Are you getting your potholes fixed in your road? In any case your founding fathers told you to be vigilant with your "government" . I think it was Ben who said "we've given you a good government, if you can keep it".
