Lately I've been doing a little searching on various medical problems that plague Americans.
During that search I have found various legit studies on different diseases. All of these diseases are life threatening, usually fatal. It surprised me to find that the ones I've checked into thus far have credible "cures". Most have not been put into "production" and I wonder why.
Surely the cost of care to insurance/government for treatment of end stage disease would be better served as a cost savings to cure rather than treat these illnesses. Why then no implementation of cure rather than treatment?
Some possible reasons which sound outlandish.
One would be the government would rather we die then extend our lives into the retirement social security years. Another would be the drug companies make more money to treat rather than cure. One other would be insurance companies.Do you really think insurance companies would care if a disease was cured? How about a sure fire way to limit all insurance related risk. It may seem odd to you but insurance companies love problems. The reason they do is because people buy more insurance the more at risk they are. Are insurance companies concerned about their outlay of money for disease, accidents etc. Not really, the more expensive the care, loss etc becomes, the higher your premium and the more people buy insurance coverage. With some exceptions the insurance companies love things exactly as they are. I'm rambling now.
