On the news last night it was said the troops in Iraq are beginning to feel demoralized. They perceive a lack of support from the American people. Imagine having access to the internet and satellite news during Vietnam. It was bad enough knowing Americans were burning flags, chanting ho ho Ho Chi Minh at Harvard , insulting returning troops and throwing crap at returning casket carriers. Can you imagine having to watch it on the news every night in Vietnam? This war on terror as it expands over time will require a draft and at that point it will all happen over again. Let me say I feel sorry for the current troops in advance. I can already see what's coming.To live their entire lives as outcasts in their own country simply because they were willing to give it all for their country. This is no longer the country of our forefathers.
