Was just poking around when I found this site, and wanted to leave a message to all of this country's great veterans, no matter what war you've fought in. I was raised by my grandparents, and my grandfather was a career marine (they were young grandparents)and fought in both Korea and in Vietnam. He was our hero, not only because of what he fought for, but because of who he was. It was a life altering experience for all of you, and please just know that every day that I live in this country, I appreciate all of my freedoms, and the freedoms that my children have because of the great sacrifices made on the part of so many american service people.
