Hey my name is Adriana, im in 10th grade, and for a school assignment we were asked to interview a Vietnam War Veteran. Me, being me, forgot about it until today, and its due tomorrow. So please if there is anyone willing to answer a few questions for me it would be greatly appreciated.
2. How did you become involved in the effort? (such as enlisting, or being drafted), And how did you feel when you were called for duty?
3. What at the time was your opinion about the war? Was it just?
4. What was daily life like being in the war?
5. Is there any one experience that stands out to you from your time serving?
6. I know many people brought things to remind them of home, Did you bring anything special with you when you were taken overseas? What was its meaning to you?
7. Did anyone you knew have an "original" item that they had brought with them?
8. How did the war affect your relationship with friends and family when you returned?
9. What was it like in the first few weeks of being back from Vietnam? (emotional strains etc.)
10. If you could tell everyone in the world something you learned from fighting, what would it be, and why?
11. If you were to go back in time would you change any decisions you made about going to war, or about your time spent there?
12.How do you think Vietnam Veterans have been treated compared to Veterans of other wars?
