I am searching for information about my father. He served in Vietnam in 1968-69. Made it home safely, but didn't talk a lot about it, understandably. When he passed away in 1997 we found some patches and other information that differed greatly from what we knew. I respect him, and his privacy but would love to know more. I do not know his unit but I do know he was stationed at Long Binh and he was on the Seaboard Flight 253A that was taken hostage by the Russians for a few days on their way to Vietnam. His name was Bryan C. Matherly Sr. and he was an incredible man loved by many. Thank you for your help.
