My name is Richard Rose. I served as chief communications Sgt. with ODA-402 and knew Robert well. I, too, wear his bracelet and have visited the Vietnam Memorial Wall in DC, where I over-sketched his name. Robert relieved me on a mission to Nui Coto, and was ambushed and went missing. May Robert rest in peace. I often think of what would have happened if I had insisted on going back to Nui Coto, while leaving Bob at the Team. God only knows, why. I will miss my brother, forever. I look forward to seeing him again one day.

: I am a member of the Canadian military I
: bought a MIA/KIA bracelet at the Vietnam
: memorial in DC in 1988. I wanted an SF guy
: because I was a Canadian paratrooper and
: wanted to find a person I could relate to.
: On Nov11th we celebrate Remembrance day vice
: Veterans day. since 1988 I have worn the
: bracelet on Nov 11 every year. This tear I
: am speaking to my daughters class and again
: will wear it. I have always wondered about
: him and now thanks to the internet and your
: site I not only know more about him but can
: see the face of the man I have worn on my
: wrist around the world. This bracelet has
: been worn by me in Afghanistan and now I
: wear a Budweiser on my other wrist for my
: brothers in SEAL team 10 who died during my
: first tour on OEF.
: Thank You Volker
