My Dad is a veteran who served 2 tours in Vietnam, he was honorably discharged in 1983 after serving 10 years in the service. Last year On April 4, 2008 my Daddy past away. I have always looked at my dad as being a hero, as well as my kids do. But my dad always said he was never a hero for what he did. I need for my dad Larry J. Douglas to be remembered for being a hero who served our country..... willingly. My dad some how earned the Bronze Star medal along with many others. But my knowledge is limited due to the fact that my dad never talked it. Thank you, Annette alanda35@comcast.net
