i myself is a 20 year national guard veteran and served in Operation Noble Eagle , Operation Enduring Freedom (Egypt), and in Kuwait and Iraq in Operation Iraqi Freedom.
I'm glad that something has been done about this kind of stuff that i been hearing for the last 30 years, mostly from other soldiers or civilans, it get's me when someone serves in a warzone with there own MOS , then come back with stories of combat when there clerks or bricklayers. And with dozen new shiny medals.
I myself deployed as a 11B in ONE and OEF (MFO48) and recieved only the deployment stuff and the same goes for OIF as a mechanic and ran some convoy security into Iraq.
I may not be a hero or have 20 medals of valor , but i did my job and was proud to be added to that brotherhood that served in the times of war.
We should reflect back on those who didn't come back from all wars.
Keep there memory live. Bless all of us and you.
