My tour with the 378th was October 1968 - June 1969, then at the HQ of the 185th Maintenence Bn from June-Octov=ber 1969. During my time with either unit there were no rreal "combat" situations -- we were roketed/mortared a few times, but not exchanges of fire.

: Hello,
: My name is Anita Hartsell. I am a Veterans
: Service Officer in NC. I have a veteran that
: served with the 378th Maintenance Company in
: 1968. By any chance were you with the 378th
: Maintenance Company in 1968 in Vietnam?
: This veteran is trying to get service
: connection for PTSD...but the VA can't seem
: to verify his stressors in Vietnam. The VA
: has not been able to locate any
: documentation that the 378th Maintenance Co.
: participated in any type of combat.
: I was wondering, (if you were with the 378th
: in 1968) if you might have any information
: you would be willing to share so that I
: might be able to assist this veteran.
: I would greatly appreciate any information
: you or anyone else can provide. You can
: contact me at my email address:
: ahartsell@brunsco.net
:
: Thank you and everyone else for your service
: to our country. God Bless.
