Your last question is not easy. I supported this Country I never supported War just for War! I supported this Country for the price I knew we had to paid. I did not go to War to die for this Country I went to live for this Country. Our history is full of those who lived for this Country and had to learn the lessons of War, fear, uncontrolable sadness, loss of friends, pain, Horror and crazyness without answers. As can be seen to day by our leadership those that did not go to War, War is an easy thing to engage. All american who love their country should have to paid the price and if they come home let them be president. Without the Horror it is to easy to go to War!!

Dear Julie;
2.: When I was in class I think 6th grade an anouncement came over the speaker at school in Calif. that the president was shot. Then my teacher a woman started crying. after a little while later came the words the president was dead. My teacher ran out of the room and half the children started crying. After about ten minutes someone came to our room to tells us we were going home for the rest of the day.
3.: The beatles I seen them on the Ed Sulivan Show with my parents and brother and sister. When to bed for school the next day.
4.: I was in Vietnam from 1967 through most of 1969. The day before Tet started I took out two mines. That night we were almost over run by VC at our OR sight of platoon strenght. That month we lost I think 21 men.
5.: Was told by some other men a few days (3)later that we had landed on the moon. I asked Why?
6.: Woodstock I did not know about until 1970. I was getting out of the Army Aug 20th 1970.
7.: Kent state I really didn't here much about, and when I got out I didn't care. I had lost to many friends that stood up for their country to care about protestors. And we were still in a War!
