Searching for Helicopter Pilot at LZ Ross, Que Son 1967-68

We are searching for a helicopter pilot that done two tours in Vietnam 1967-70. He flew smaller choppers and was shot in right leg prior to fall 1967. The second incident, the chopper he was flying has rotor tail hit. He escaped the VC twice. He went by Mr. Gene and was Warrant Officer or could have been a Lt. or Captain. We have been told he was Army or US Marine. He flew Chinooks later second tour. He was Bong Son, Camp Ross, DaNang, Kon Tum, Pleiku and elsewhere flying everywhere. He is my wife's father and they have not seen each other since March 1970. Please contact us if you know anything about this pilot. He was born 1944-45, medium size, blue eyes, brown hair and mole on face. His three grandchildren want to know him. Please contact if you know anyone fits this description.
