Ya well, that is about typical !! I was told my husband, who is now deceased, that he was not in Vietnam. Yeah Right !!!!! The V A did not take care of him... he died because of it, with stage four Lung Cancer. It is alright to send you guys to war but do not expect good care when you come back sick or wounded. I can't stand it !!! Our Vets are mistreated. It is an awful unbelievable shame. My Dad was in Guadal Canal in World War 2 He was left to die of cancer as well at a V A hospital.... Just adding my information to yours. I lost my dad and husband to treatable cancer because of the V A. I am in a 3 year tussel with them. I will not give up, my husband was on the USS St Louis LKA 116 It DID go to Vietman and shuttled up and down the coast of Vietnam with Marines and amphibious crafts phus AO on the ship. The navy denies it. Well I can show them differently. My husband was exposed along with all the men on that ship as well as other men on Vietnam offshore Navy ships. The water they drank and the air they breathed was contaminated with Agent Orange and who else knows what. So there it is.....I have spouted off. Now, I and Mom are widows. No Thanks to the V A healthcare.... Was their even a real doctor in the building?!!! Contracted PA's are NOT doctors. You are considered lucky to see anyone at all.
