Haiki: The message from the VA seems clear in my opinion, they don't care. That makes sense though, very few people know a military/ex military person anymore. I did an informal survey the other day. I asked young men "do you know anybody in the military?" finally I got one positive. he said "yeah well kinda, I know a guy who was in the military". Most of America is out living their lives, completely unaware of the sacrifices these people are making. Since the vast majority of people can't identify with a vet , why should the VA be concerned with public opinion? If it was made public so that everybody understood how veterans were being treated by VA policy, would the public care? I doubt it.
