November 23 — NY Mets Donate Equipment to "Bringing Baseball to Vietnam"
The New York Mets Foundation made a substantial product donation last week to the Vietnam Veterans Memorial Fund for its “Bringing Baseball to Vietnam” initiative. The gift included 25 aluminum Little League bats and 40 dozen baseballs. Read the Press Release
Major League Baseball has agreed to endorse the Vietnam Veterans Memorial Fund in Bringing Baseball to Vietnam. Co-hosts Jan Scruggs and Major League pitcher Danny Graves will travel with delegates to various points of interest in Vietnam from January 16 through 25, 2006. Read the Press Release
