WASHINGTON, Nov. 10 /U.S. Newswire/ -- “The Chairman of the House Veterans Affairs Committee, Steve Buyer (R-Ind.), announced plans to eliminate annual congressional hearings for Veterans Service Organizations. Under Buyer’s plan, The American Legion and other Veterans Service Organizations would no longer be afforded the opportunity to present testimony before a joint hearing of the House and Senate Veterans' Affairs Committees.”

And just before Veteran’s Day. How appropriate. Republican Steve Buyer (Ind.) patriotic American, didn’t want veterans to go on thinking, just because it’s Veterans Day, that veteran’s, especially those returning from Iraq and Afghanistan ,as another year has passes by, no matter what your VA problem is going to be, or your physical condition, in order to shut you up, the American Legion, VFW, AMVETS, and all the other national veterans organizations, are not going to be able to advocate your cause anymore, in Congress. Frankly, Steve Buyer is tired veterans’ complaining. You read every day about how veterans’ are treated, by Congress. It’s never ending, little by little, they keep chipping away. If Buyer has his way, and if we let it happen, veterans will no longer be able to address your concerns in Congress. No matter what your thoughts are about VSO organizations, they are veterans. As it stands, veterans’ issues are at the bottom of everybody’s list. Very soon ,veterans’ will not be anybody’s list.
