I was lucky enough to be at mile 23.8 to see Meb pull away from Robert. I was with a knowledgeable running crowd so it was a blast. It was tough to have to wait to find out how the race finished up. Lots of US men to cheer for in the top 25 finishers.
A couple shout-outs:
Matt looked great and ran fast. I will be interested to read his race report.
He was running with Joan B's caravan. Not sure if that was good or bad.
Paul R. passed a minute or so after Matt. He looked like he was out for a morning jog.
Chrissy Ramsey (ran on the RS team before moving to Baltimore) ran a huge PR. 2:44 for 12th place female.
