Another local alternative to the Philly marathon and Half Marathon

Just got an email from the RD for the Atlantic City Marathon today...the marathon is Sun, November 15, one week prior to Philly. So if you are looking for an alternative to Philly, this might be it!

Good Afternoon-

I know that this email is very short notice, but I am hoping that you can
help.

I recently became the race director for the Atlantic City Marathon (by
recently I mean Oct. 5). We are planning on having the Marathon on Sunday,
November 15, 2009.

Again, I know that this does not leave much preparation for runners, but we
are taking a different approach. Would you be willing to reach out to your
group/s of runners about the marathon? This would be a great trial run for
the Philly Marathon the next week.

In addition, we are a registered Boston Marathon qualifier. Our course is
flat and we are offering cash prizes for both the Marathon and Half
Marathon.
