I mentioned this one at track Tuesday night. It's a fast and fun course-- race is to raise money for a Malvern family facing tremendous hardship. This year’s beneficiary is the Strieb family, whose Michael is suffering from ALS, or Lou Gehrig’s disease, which is a progressive neurodegenerative disease that attacks nerve cells in the brain and spinal cord causing muscle weakness and atrophy. Already in the last year and a half, this husband and father of three has become dependent on a wheelchair and can only communicate with a speech assistance device. Your support would help make a tremendous difference for this family.
