Hey Gang,
Striders are kicking butt this fall so just wanted to bring attention to some hard working folks.
Keith, who finally vanquished his long time nemisis Serge Arbona along with ultra marathoner Scott Jurick to log 134 miles in 24hrs. AWESOME!
Mike P and Hugh B for placing first in age at the parkway run!
Elden who blew away his PR in the half marathon by smoking the PDR!
Jen F. and Paul R. for astounding performances at the blues cruise ultra marathon near Redding!
Mike B on completeing A half ironman in his first year of triathloning!
Mike Walsh who disproved that eating Pizza and running simultaneously are impossible, and scoring 4th in age at this fun race!
Jen E., Russ P., Jack H, and yours truly for overcoming some serious obsticles and finishing 8th out of 154 boats at the Philly Dragon Boat Festival.
Jeff Wrenn for winning his first ever outright victory in finishing first at the Muck and Run 4mile cross country race.
I'm sure there are some that I missed so please post if you know them.
It was great to see our own Susan Landry at the Dragon Boat festival paddling for the Collegeville Dragons, as well as super volunteer Paul Mallon appearing everywhere on the Dragonboat festival site.
Keep up the good work runners and good luck on your upcoming Fall racing!
