I remember MM1 Pappas. When you came on, I was on shore patrol duty in Long Beach. After 4 years and 10 months on the Jouett, I was discharged in Long Beach. Quaas and I were roommates in the dorm. Didn't he have a twin brother? I wonder if Quaas is still living. I remember MM2 McGuire and a few other guys, like MMFN/FA Mohoi, or something like that. I was the engineroom supervisor in Main Control on my last West Pac. I did two on the Jouett. I'm glad I got out before it went back to Thailand. I may have died too
! Anyway, life is good. Keep sharing your stories. I have a few myself. Lots of memories. Some good and some bad.
