I last set foot on Sterrett's decks in PI, when Jouett was there in '84 on Westpac. She was a lot like Jouett but at the time we were a much cleaner ship...had an admiral on board at the time. Sweat pumps locked on. May our ol' girl, as you say, rest peacefully.

I agree, Stephen and Tim. And like another poster said elsewhere, Jouett was our home for whatever time each of us served aboard. Hearing of her demise is like seeing your childhood house radically altered or torn down...what you knew is just gone forever. ![]()
