! There were some characters on that ship. Some great times and some rough times but all in all it was a part of my life I could never forget. Tell Dick I said hello.
Speaking of softball, I coach baseball and softball at the high school I teach French at in Memphis. I played in Long Beach right before I got out with the snipes team. Tom McKay sent me a picture CD about a year ago of a few guys who made that trip overseas. MM3 Sherman, MM3 McGuire, MMFN Neal aka Crab, and a few others I couldn't remember were on it. You take care and I'm sure we'll stay in touch.
