I remember when Dodd shot himself in the foot i was the Gunnermate on duty that night and had to go retrieve the M-1 and spend cartridge..I can still see him now rolling on the deck..That poor boy was in some ser1ous pain..no one every said what happen to him after they took him off the ship but we never seen him again..Yes i remember there was 2 Dodds on board..
