Have this distinct memory of being called up forward to the MAA shack, going in and you shutting the door. This was followed by me being backed up to the bulkhead and you saying something to the effect of, if I ever do that again, some words I can't repeat on the forum, something about my back side, your boot, swimming to Sand Diego, and a few more words I can't repeat. And now that you've refreshed my memory, I remember something about me trying to, renovate shall we say, the mess decks soda machine, the port side passageway aft by M Division's berthing, a MAA or two, and my chin and the M-Divison's compartment's hatch coaming. You know, to this day, I have a hard time shaving around that area of my chin! Yes, I'm remember more now, even the pounding of that hang over. Good times! And I do remember the Chief you spoke about. I believe he was an MMC, no names mentioned. I also remember how much trouble I got into when I asked what he had did to cause him to end up on restriction. Your right, that was a great crew and ship. I've always said if my last ship had been half a good as the Jolly J, I would have shipped. But it wasn't, and I didn't. It great to hear from ya Chief.
