Gary, I think I remember what caused your restriction. You came back to the ship one night after hitting the club and got into it with the duty MAA, BM1 Howard. I was the CMAA then and remember you. That time we spent in drydock did seem long as it was near the end of cruise and it extended the Jouett two or three months on deployment. As for being on restriction you certainly were not alone. The liberty was good and seemed to keep some of the crew from returning on time. And not just you young sailors. Do you remember one of the chief's falling in with everyone else for restricted musters? The Captain made no exception at that time. I know the engineer's had a hard & dirty job with very long hours. We did have a pretty close crew. I had a good tour aboard the Jouett with many good memories. John
