I too remember the Thanksgiving Day that the ship got underway with little notice. I was on the ship, and like others who had liberty, had to stay. I had brought Phil Campbell, a raderman who had the duty back to the ship, and then got to stay for the next 3 and a half days. But, when we did get back Sat. night, those who missed the trip were there to meet us. One of those Navy stories we will always remember. Lindsay Draime CS3 Jack of the Dust Supply Division
