Jane. Assuming your story is a true one then first I am sorry to hear about the severity of your injuries, no one deserves that, and I wish you well with your recovery. That said, a number of points come to note from your account. You were dressed outrageously and intended to tease people, you admit that, had second thoughts but still went out wearing virtually nothing. Life is not some arcade game that you can stop when it gets dangerous, you made choices that night and gave little regard to the effects of your appearance and actions on others. You were aware of the attention in the club and did nothing to prevent it, even joking about it with your friend. Then when the other women protested you were so full of yourself that you tried to make fun of her. Then you admit having not realised the seriousness of the situation as you put it. You flatter yourself that there was a sexual motive, it certainly appears they both enjoyed what she did to you but I would suggest the repeated attacks on your genital area were more designed to inflict maximum pain and humilliation on a readilly available and vulnerable target area. Equally I feel sure that there was no intention to injure you as seriously, again, hurt and humilliation being the likeley motives. Let's face it she didn't smack your head off the concrete, that would appear to have been as a result of your movements and once unconscious and totally humilliated (the naked exposure of your intimate areas and self urination) the attack ceased. Whilst I cannot condone the violence that she used against you and worse, he against your friend, it was your actions that put you in that situation. You dress like that, pick a fight and then wonder why she punches you between the legs - the obvious target I would have thought. Had you been dressed like her you would have been spared a great deal I am sure. Where had you been for those twenty-six years. You are old enough to know the world you live in and it can be a wicked and dangerous place. When a women chooses to behave the way you did that night she invites trouble, I am not justifying that just presenting a fact. In short you went out by your own admission, dressed to tease, presenting yourself as nothing more than a piece of flesh; looked for trouble and when you found it you couldn't deal with it. You brought it on yourself. But then again I think you already know that. ps Did you really look that good that night, if so then I bet you thrilled a lot of people! The Devil's Advocate
