Posted by big al on 19/5/2003, 6:31 pm Ossett Town have been fined £400 (with £200 suspended) by the UniBond League for comments made on their website about the league and other member clubs. A club official has also been fined, and, it is understood, has since left the club. All parties have been warned about their future conduct. Ossett were found guilty of "conduct detrimental to the good name of the league". This has been threatened for some time and clubs will be wary of falling foul of league rules or incur any form of league penalties for comments on either official or unofficial websites. This applies for programmes also

from the non-league footy site, comments about "our friends in the North" must have been responsible for £10k (at least!!)
