Nico and Dani are best friends, inseparable. Their story is about sexual experimentation over a summer spent at the Mediterranean seaside home of Dani’s parents, who have gone off to Egypt. Home alone, Nico and Dani frolic as typical teenagers enjoying their freedom and friendship. As the summer progresses tensions arise as each experiences sexual awakenings that will ultimately lead them down different paths with a few unpredictable twists along the way. Beautifully photographed, this film is both seductive and uplifting. (In Spanish with English subtitles, running time 90 minutes) When: Thursday, 3 February 2005, starting at 7:00 p.m. Where: The Good Beans Café at 328 N. Grand Traverse and W. First Ave. Just north of the Flint River in Historic Carriage Town
