Greek Surname

Hey, My surname is Despinidis, or Despinidic, i believe it orioganlly derived from the name "georgic".... am interested if anyone has heard of this name before? Please email me if so.. or if anyone has this last name.. i have not been able to find many ppl and it is most likey that we are all related. Thanks JD
