I am looking for a location that is or was near the Greece/Turkish border. My father-in-law, Nicholas Papazoglou emmigrated to the US in 1912. On his ship manifest he stated his place of birth as Tsaknohori, Turkey. Twenty years later in his naturalization papers he listed his birthplace as Thaknokory, Hnasilitsos, Greece. The border changed often when he was a young man, he also spoke of the Dardenelles. Does anyone have any idea where this area is specifically?
