Drip Irrigation

I have approx. 1/4 mile of arborvitae that I want to replace with one continuous line 5/8" (1/2" in now)if that is feasible. Currently have connectors to 50'sections. Feel I'm loosing water due to emitter holes I've had to change and plug occasionally. Still have a few leaks. Is it possible to run that length and supply water all the way with 5/8" or is it better to stay with 1/2"? Also need prices and wondering about lines with built-in emitters. Appreciate your help. Dennis
