Frankly, we don't know of anyone who has tried. However, the general opinion is that it probably is not such a good idea. The folks at Agribon think straw would be better suited. The row cover will not break down. The new grass will probably grow into the fabric and be torn out when the row cover is removed. In short, we do not suggest you try this application.
