Drip irrigation on potatoes

I recently graduated in Ag Engineering and I am working on a large potato farm in southern Idaho. I wanted to check into watering center pivot corners with drip irrigation. Does anyone have any experience with drip irrigation in potatoes? All I have run into are skeptics here in Idaho.
