I purchased a T-Tape kit this spring, installation was easy and I am happy with the system and results.
I do have a question in regards to volume delivered. The manf lists the volume as .22 gallons/hundred foot of tape @ 8 psi delivery pressure. The regulator you provided operates at about 18 psig and is listed as a 20 psi unit.
How much additional volume will the extra 10 psi add. I want to calculate times for complete watering. I have about 1700 feet of tape out to cover 5,000 square feet with a 5 gpm, 50 psi water supply. I divided the garden in two zones of about 850 ft of tape each.
Also what I am seeing is just the row gets watered when I do water. Should I reduce the amount of water from what would be needed to cover 5,000 square feet as the water is being applied directly to the plants versus the entire garden? and if I do reduce the amount how much should I reduce it?
Thanks in advance for the info.
Bob
