Posted by Ken As to the filter, yes, a disc filter would be called for. General rule: Screen filter for inorganic materials; Disc filter for organic materials. Thanks! --Previous Message--

Wobblers are always a good choice. Good coverage with a medium sized droplet that should not hurt young seedlings.
: We're setting up a drip system for our 3 acre
: market garden. Wondering what the standard is
: these days for watering in direct seeded
: veggies when using drip as the main source of
: irrigation. I was considering setting up a
: Wobbler setup (by senniger) on aluminum 2
: inch pipe that could be moved around to the
: sections that are direct seeded and once
: established run on drip until harvest.
: Any input?
: Also, we will be drawing from a pond 75 feet
: above the growing space (plenty of pressure)
: but would like to filter out weed seeds. Is a
: disc filter the best way to go to accomplish
: this or is the $ better spent on a sand
: filter?
: Thanks.
