For now you will learn alot quicker staying in "All Metal" mode. I have gotten a ring and many dimes in the iron range. Pick easy places to get a feel for what your machine is telling you. This summer being so dry out I did alot of beaches and kids playgrounds. The kids playgrounds are excellent for money especially under the swings. Typically these locations are good. All I am organizing a metal detecting hunt this Oct 21st at Trout Lake in Vancouver.
