Posted by scott-devon on August 19, 2006, 7:51 pm I arrived early and found the beach pretty empty and the day still a bit too cool to start wading so I did the beach for a bit. Soon though the sun was out, the beach was filling up and I slipped (ok ok! I struggled.. I swear it shrunk!) into my wetsuit and hit the water. I had a good day, getting 3.27 in clad, a cheap chain, a celtic style cross, a kid's ring, a mood ring, a large ring thats either stainless steel or nickel, a silver ring, a silver toe ring, and a 10k honker white gold ring. I also got a 1963 silver dime. Needless to say I left also with a huge pile of junk in my bag. So all thats left for Waterman is the good stuff... I met up with Martin in the lake and he had a nice old brass crucifix and soon after got a nice little gold heart charm. I ended the night with a coffee on the beach while I admired this view before driving home.
I went south today to meet up with Waterman for a lake hunt. Unfortunately he got called out to work and wasn't able to make it.
