Posted by scott-devon Unfortunately as Darrell and his wife cannot make next weekend, and nor can I or John, and since the following one after that is the Sept long weekend and the beach and campground will be packed I've decided to set it back to Saturday Sept. 9th provisionally. Darrell, I really appreciate your offer of the campsite and trailer as a base camp. It's a pity I've had to set this back. It would have been very handy I'm sure. Thank you for the kind offer though. So... here it is. Saturday Sept. 9, at 10:00 A.M. at the West end of Mameo Beach. We'll meet up at the boat launch there and have some fun. Come one, come all! (bring your own lunch and refreshments) Hunt the beach, hunt the water, hunt the park. The object is to have fun, and at the same time clean up the trash off this end of the beach. So..motto for the day.. "Dig it All!" subject to change...but I sure hope not!

So far only a few are able to make this Saturday at Mameo and it is my understanding the water is still above safe pollution levels, so I've decided to set the hunt back.
