You can see a couple Stones on the Kessler hot blast page which is linked at the home page here. I have the ornate brass model described in Linda Black's book, which bears 4 of the Stone patents. The fount is identical to your pipe-tube lantern.
We know even less about Dominion. There was a Dominion Tin and Stamping, Ltd. that was bought by Albert Kemp in 1885 and would have been a competitor to Stone. There is mention of a Dominion Lamp and Lantern, but no specifics. I don't see this globe as being anywhere near the 1880's period. It has a very popular name in the Dominion of Canada and violates my theory that there were no marked globes before 1898. From what I can see, it appears to have a well struck embossment and a blue cast to the glass which puts it post-1915. You can check this by viewing under black light.
