Dietz called it the "pivoted bail" with the little nail dimple at the pivot point of the bail, which they started doing on hot blasts in late 1935. The Pivoted Wagl Bail, or the one that's an arc with a small offset shoulder on the ends was adopted from the (still made) original Monarch on the streamline Monarch in 1942 discontinued in 1952, so it should not be the original bail which was the Straight-Sided Bail, as on the other one. The original finish was metallic/irridescent blue paint.
