Some were painted a safety yellow with black stripes. Some were painted white with black stripes. There were so many different barricade being built back then and most city, street dept. were building there own with different styles. Wooden and all steel types. CAUTION or STREET CLOSED were a very common stencil they would apply on the 2x6 boards. Steve.
