No, can't say that I have, but I have driven by the area on Dewey Ave. many times. Back in the 60's the outer loop highway stopped at Ridge Road as it did not yet connect with the Lake Ontario State Parkway so we would take Ridge to either Mt. Reed Blvd or Dewey Ave. to go north to get to my grandparent's house. In the early 70's I stored personal belonging at my grandfather's house in Greece between semesters while a student at Syracuse Univ. My Rochester connection has made me more interested in Rochester marked lanterns from Embury and Defiance as well as Illinois Division of Highways lanterns and torches. Between Buffalo, Warsaw, Rochester, Syracuse and NYC there was a lot of lantern production over the years in New York State as well as globe production in Corning.
