My fiance found a small lantern from Sanford &
Pollow Co. of Chicago Il. dated 1899. We were trying to find information on it. We were wondering if you might know what it was used for during that era? It is a small handheld lantern with a green and red colored jewel on the sides. Any help with this is greatly appreciated. Thank you!
