The Rayo 22's that I have are all dash/wagon lanterns and were most likely made by Pritchard Strong Co (PRISCO). Does your lantern have a metal reflector on the back?
W T Kirkman has a replacement cap that is made from a solid piece of brass that's been machined, threaded, and drilled out to look like an original cap. Follow the link for a picture.
The only difference is the original caps were pressed from sheetmetal, then threaded and they are a little lighter and thinner than the reproductions.
